Buenos Aires, Argentina.

12 days and counting… That’s how much time I have left here in South America.

It’s been an absolutely wonderful trip, filled with amazing people, beautiful sights, deep insights and wonderful adventures.

But I’m also really looking forward to going back home!

It’s not so much the Netherlands that I miss, as it is the people (though I’m looking forward to not having to hoard my hagelslag (imagine! Being able to step into a shop at any time and buy a packet of real Dutch hagelslag. Whenever you want!).

Mom and dad were here recently enough, but I’m already missing them a lot again. Haven’t seen my brother, grandmother and the rest of the family for a long time, so I really want to see them!

Looking forward to seeing all my friends again. Having drinks on a real Dutch terrace (the weather here is getting worse day by day. So nice to be able to go from a bit of winter directly into summer!). Hearing what everybody has been doing for the last couple of months.

And I’m sure I’ll get very tired very quickly of having to tell all my stories over and over again 😉 (is it very impolite to tell people “read the blog!”?)

I’m going to enjoy my last few days here, sniffing up the last bits of South America (for now. Because I will be back shortly enough!). Enjoying Buenos Aires and perhaps some other cities and places nearby.

But Netherlands beware!

I’ll be back! (Dutch, Austrian accent, what’s the difference anyway?)
